Responsibilities:
- Provide wound care and treatment to patients with acute or chronic wounds - Assess and monitor wound healing progress - Develop and implement individualized wound care plans - Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records -Rotating On-Call
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse - Proficiency in performing wound assessments and dressing changes - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices - Experience with medication administration, including topical wound medications - Familiarity with electronic medical record systems - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team - Experience in case management and coordination of care for patients with complex wounds Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, experience, and skills.
