We are seeking a detail-oriented individuals that will be responsible for ensuring that all products and materials meet quality standards.
This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to use precision measuring instruments.
RESPONSIBILITIES Performs dimensional and visual inspections of products to ensure conformance with specifications (First Piece Acceptance, Last piece inspection and comparisons, in-process inspections).
Inspects products (using fixture gauges, calipers, height gage, etc.
) taking measurements and performing visual inspection at each machine as production is in process.
Maintains fixture gages and measuring equipment making sure it is suitable for use, and reporting any discrepancies to quality manager.
Process associated documentation including process tags, rework tags and nonconforming material documents, training documents and in-process checks.
Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.
Communicate with oncoming and outgoing shifts to ensure smooth shift to shift transition.
Report all nonconforming material to shift supervisor and quality manager by preparing associated documentation and obtaining necessary sign-offs.
Ensure nonconforming product is properly identified and placed in hold area.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Log job time, daily.
Appropriate lockout/tagout training.
Follow required PPE, and all Company and Safety policies, processes and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Special Knowledge:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
2 - years work experience preferred.
Excellent organizational & time management skills.
Self-Motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Works well in a team environment.
