5K a year 9 hours ago 9 hours ago 9 hours ago Our office is an established Optometry practice looking to train an Optometric Assistant to help our patients in all phases of eye care.
This position is Monday and Wednesday all day, and Thursday and Friday morning half days.
Non-smoking office.
25 to 32 hours/week.
We are very particular about accuracy, and your ability to follow directions.
Individuals who possess good math skills will find the training we provide, easier.
Training will also be more comfortable for you if you have had office/reception experience.
The individual we are looking for should have a friendly personality and be able to answer the phone with a smile.
Some of the duties for this position are:
Pre-testing patients prior to them seeing the doctor, helping patients select their new eyewear, teaching new contact lens wearers how to insert and remove their lenses, utilizing electronic health records and computers, front desk duties, along with other tasks to help our patients.
We will train the right candidate, and you will get paid while learning in the office, but we expect a long term commitment for this position in return.
