Benefits:
Salary $19.
00 to start, increased to $20.
43 after six months, increasing annually to $27.
11 ($56,388.
80) over four years.
Annual cost of living increases given after that (subject to approval by county commission.
) Paid on-the-job training provided.
We offer overtime, holiday pay, pension, medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and more! This is a union position.
Hours:
We are a 24/7/365 department.
Nights, weekends, and holidays and overtime should be expected.
Shifts are awarded based on availability and seniority.
We work 12 hours days, the first week working a 2-on, 2-off, 3-on rotation, and the next week working a 2-off, 2-on, 3-off rotation.
This will include one short 8-hour day per pay period.
Skills Required:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced stressful environment while adapting to changing priorities.
Ability to listen to multiple sources of information at once through selective listening.
Ability to read and interpret mapping.
Customer service experience preferred.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, drug screen, and physical.
