The Villages of Lapeer Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Duties:
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Monitor and document patient vital signs - Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures - Provide education and support to patients and their families - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Utilize aseptic technique to prevent infection - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Follow established protocols for family planning services - Perform wound care as needed - Ensure compliance with coding and documentation guidelines - Adhere to infection control protocols
Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Michigan - Minimum 1 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting - Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Experience in nursing home or long-term care settings is a plus We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance and a 401k.
