Maintain the pharmacy department according to professional standards and all state and federal regulations; supervise pharmacy personnels prescription dispensing process, including maintaining and taking inventory and keeping accurate records; accept prescription orders from medical professionals by approved means of communication as described by state and federal laws; dispense medications and counsel patients regarding their medications including any possible drug-drug interactions with prescription and over the counter medications; review drug utilization of patients; dispense and administer immunizations based on physicians protocol; ensure high quality patient care and customer satisfaction and address any customer complaints or concerns; maintain and comply with security, sales and record keeping procedures which include prevention of any drug diversion; interview, hire and train pharmacy personnel; oversee payroll, expense control, revenues from prescription sales; keep management informed about day-to-day operations of pharmacy and review business expansion and growth opportunities via marketing and advertising. Bachelor's degree plus 60 months experience required. Must be licensed as a pharmacist in Michigan. Work site: Lapeer, MI.
